Moody wedding at Colorado's historic Broadmoor Hotel

In true Colorado fashion, Brooke and Joseph's October jewel-toned wedding saw both sunshine and snow, all within a few hours. The dramatic weather seemed to punctuate an even more dramatically romantic gathering. Sweeping views of both the mountains and the city were complimented by warm textures, overflowing flowers, and abundant candlelight at The Broadmoor's Cheyenne Lodge.

An epic pergola dripping in florals framed our couple just as snowflakes began to fall during their vows. The color-blocked design created interest and movement, certainly not your typical wedding arch. There was something magical about watching the blooms get lightly dusted in snow, their beauty creating their own cozy warmth.

Our bride carried a delicate bouquet of romantic blooms: chocolate cosmos, garden roses, nandina berries, ranunculus, autumn spirea, and jasmine vine. The gentle movement of the flowers perfectly complemented the delicate floral embroidery of her Galia Lahav gown. Our groom in a custom-made suit requested a floral pocket square to compliment the black and black detailing.

After the conclusion of the ceremony, friends and family were welcomed to the main lodge. Luxurious velvet linens, decadent cocktails, endless candlelight, and opulent floral designs transformed the space. The whole space told a story: a 16 foot long elevated centerpiece framing the head table; chandeliers dress in cascading foliage and blooms; overflowing garden centerpieces in mixed metal vessels accidented by smoke glass and velvet place settings; flickering warmth from candlelight. Drama. Romance. Mood.

Every aspect of this day was considered, and we truly believe the couple and their friends and family could feel this love and attention to detail.
