A Woodland Dream at the Four Seasons: Pampered Planners 2025

Earlier this spring, we had the honor of flowering an unforgettable event hosted by our friends at House of Wilde Events and Milk Glass Productions. Pampered Planners was a day dedicated to celebrating some of Colorado’s most talented and hardworking wedding planners—a chance for them to be on the receiving end of beauty, rest, and connection.

Set at the iconic Four Seasons Hotel in Denver, the event unfolded in two parts: a vibrant lunchtime pool soiree and a moody, immersive evening dinner. Yarrow & Spruce had the joy of designing florals for the dinner portion, which took place in the Grand Ballroom—though you might not have recognized it.

With custom hexagon flooring, velvet draping, and warm, dappled lighting overhead, the space was completely transformed. Every place setting included elevated dishware and glassware, along with a personalized embroidered napkin for each guest—a thoughtful detail that spoke to the level of care woven throughout the event.

For our floral design, we leaned into restraint on the tables: hundreds of candles provided a soft, glowing atmosphere, while airy bud vases added delicate movement and interest without overpowering the table. The centerpiece of the room (in every sense) was a large, sculptural woodland meadow built within the U-shaped table layout. It was a textural celebration of nature’s quiet drama—foliage-forward and artfully overgrown, dotted with garden elements like blooming spirea, rusty-red begonias, and dogwood branches.

Our goal was to create something that felt gathered from the forest floor—lush and wild, yet artful. To stay true to our sustainable floral practices, the meadow was constructed entirely without floral foam. We used large planter boxes filled with chicken wire as the base structure, allowing for natural flow and breathability. Real potted plants were nestled into the design to add longevity and dimension, while moss and grasses softened the edges and grounded the entire scene.

Pampered Planners was a reminder of how transformative thoughtful design can be—not only for a space, but for the people gathered within it. We're so grateful to have been a part of this magical evening.
