This past spring, we had the privilege of bringing our new brand vision to life in a way that felt truly heartfelt and meaningful. With a team of Colorado's finest wedding vendors, we set out to create a scene that embodied the spirit of Yarrow & Spruce: soft-hearted, romantic, grounded, and thoughtfully artistic. Every detail was infused with a love for nature and a timeless, old-world charm, embodying that quiet luxury and serene beauty we hold so dear.
Our floral selection was a love letter to the season, inspired by the vibrancy and tenderness of spring. The blooms we chose were predominantly Colorado-grown, a nod to our connection with the local landscape. From delicate ranunculus and sweet-smelling narcissus, to wispy cherry blossom branches and rich viburnum, each flower whispered a story of the spring thaw. Their textures and colors combined to form an earthy, organic palette that felt at once intentional and effortless—an embrace of nature’s fleeting beauty that was as poignant as it was serene.
Layers of texture were woven throughout the scene, with custom pipe and draping that softened the space and added a subtle sophistication. Patterned linens played against the smooth elegance of the deckled-edge, handmade stationery, inviting guests into a tactile, immersive experience. Every piece felt as though it had been collected and curated over time, imbued with a sense of history and artistry. It was a setting that felt old-world and yet refreshingly inviting—a place where beauty and simplicity met in harmony.
Our tablescape was designed to strike a delicate balance between elevated and cozy. Each place setting was chosen with care, inviting guests to linger and feel at ease within this intimate, artful space. Soft hues and rich textures combined with thoughtful details, creating an atmosphere that felt welcoming yet refined. It was a space that invited you in, wrapping you in warmth and grace, much like our floral arrangements themselves.
For the ceremony, we wanted a look that felt grounded in the earth, as if it had naturally emerged from the surroundings. Our team carefully arranged wild, untamed blooms in a way that felt organic and connected to the landscape. The floral installation embraced the beauty of imperfection and natural growth, reminding us of the quiet, sincere beauty that lies in nature's gentle hands.
At the heart of the celebration stood a multi-tiered cake—a work of art inspired by carved marble. Delicate etchings on its surface quoted Monet, evoking his love of light, color, and the fleeting moments of nature. It was a poetic centerpiece, bridging our love for art and the organic beauty of the natural world. The cake, like everything else, was designed to feel timeless and intentional, a final touch that tied together the old-world elegance of the scene.
This photoshoot was more than just a visual representation of our brand; it was an expression of our heart and spirit, a quiet celebration of life’s most sincere and beautiful moments. It is with this vision that we move forward, bringing our love for nature, texture, and timeless romance to each wedding we design, with the hope of creating spaces that invite you to feel, to linger, and to be enveloped in beauty.
